InGauge Inc. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture; President and CEO: Tetsuya Wada; hereinafter referred to as InGauge) has launched an external beta version of "Ca:vinet (Cabinet)," a new file sharing infrastructure for the AI era.

With the widespread adoption of generative AI, the volume of documents and knowledge created and utilized within companies is rapidly increasing. However, many companies face challenges such as "difficulty finding necessary documents," "uncertainty about the latest version," and "anxiety about sharing with external parties." "Ca:vinet" was developed to solve these issues and is a file sharing infrastructure for the AI era. It enables secure sharing and utilization of files on Google Workspace without the need to move them.

We are also recruiting 30 early adopter companies to help improve the service.

◆Development Background

The advent of generative AI is beginning to significantly change how companies engage in intellectual production. Previously, companies managed files such as proposals, planning documents, manuals, and sales materials as "things to be stored." However, as AI becomes integrated into business operations, these files transform from mere storage items into crucial assets that accumulate a company's knowledge and know-how.

Meanwhile, many companies still face the following challenges:

Difficulty finding necessary documents

Uncertainty about the latest version

Anxiety about information leakage when sharing externally

Uncertainty about who is utilizing the documents

Lack of feedback on documents

Insufficient utilization of past insights

To leverage AI, it is essential that a company's intellectual assets, in the form of files, are appropriately shared and managed. "Ca:vinet" was developed with the aim of solving these challenges and transforming company files into "assets that can be utilized in the AI era."

◆What is Ca:vinet (Cabinet)?

"Ca:vinet" is a service developed with the concept of "eliminating the 'troubles' of file sharing." It allows for secure sharing of files managed on Google Workspace, both internally and externally, without migrating them to a different environment. While traditional file management services focused on "storage," "Ca:vinet" emphasizes "sharing" and "utilization." It provides an environment where accumulated documents and knowledge within a company can be utilized safely and efficiently by more people.

1 AI automatically indexes specified drives

AI determines the file type, summary, and tags, automatically classifying them into theme-based cabinets. You can also freely add or remove files manually.

2 Quickly find the documents you need

Search and filter within cabinets. Frequently used items can be bookmarked, and view counts are recorded, so you can also see "documents everyone is looking at."

3 Discover team knowledge

You can also explore cabinets created by other members of the same organization, leading to the discovery of documents across departments.

◆Key Features

Simply layer it on top of your current Google Drive.

Files remain in Google Drive as before. "Ca:vinet" simply adds sharing and organization functions on top, so there's no need to migrate data. The original files always remain on Drive, and "Ca:vinet" does not create unauthorized copies (※1). The infrastructure operates in the Tokyo region.

1 Share Google Workspace files without moving them

Files managed on Google Drive can be used without migrating them to another service, allowing for introduction while leveraging existing operations and assets. Furthermore, we plan to support multiple cloud storage platforms in the future, not just Google Workspace.

2 AI reorganizes files within Google Drive

By simply specifying a shared drive, AI reads the files within and automatically assigns types, summaries, and tags to organize them. The AI cabinet function, which appropriately organizes files with AI, eliminates the need to remember "it was somewhere around there."

3 Secure external sharing

Supports reduction of risks such as accidental sharing and information leakage through control of sharing destinations and access management. This enables more secure document sharing with external parties.

4 Visualization of file utilization status

Visualizes which documents are being viewed and which are being utilized. Document creators can grasp usage status and link it to continuous improvement.

5 Promotes communication centered around files

Aggregates feedback and evaluations on documents to promote knowledge sharing within the organization. By activating communication through files, it supports the utilization of knowledge across the entire organization.

◆The concept of "Files are also communication."

InGauge has previously provided "Re:lation," a cloud service that supports communication between companies and customers through email, phone, LINE, and chat. However, in corporate activities, files such as proposals, planning documents, manuals, and meeting minutes are also important means of communication that connect people. Excellent documents convey knowledge, motivate people, and enhance organizational productivity.

On the other hand, unused documents can become buried within the organization, failing to realize their full value. "Ca:vinet" aims to redefine files not just as storage items but as "communication assets" and maximize their value.

◆Relationship with AI x Communication Strategy

InGauge advocates "AI x Communication" as its business concept. In 2025, it announced its proprietary AI infrastructure "Comu Asset (※2)" and has been developing the foundation for utilizing communication data and knowledge accumulated inside and outside companies.

"Ca:vinet" is a service that further develops these initiatives. In the AI era, value is created not by AI itself, but by the company's intellectual assets that form its foundation. InGauge aims to redefine files and documents within companies as assets that AI can utilize, thereby further enhancing the value of communication. We will continue to promote product development that supports the utilization of corporate intellectual assets in order to realize "AI x Communication."
