Dotted around the premises are a 200-year-old traditional house, a Nagayamon gate, tents, and snow peak Jyubako (mobile houses). We live together with the following animals:
- 15 rescued cats
- Goats
- Dogs
- A family of silky fowls

Under the guidance of a veterinarian, and to manage the cats' health, we ask that you refrain from bringing in commercially available snacks.
If you would like to give them snacks, please purchase the snacks sold at the Washinmura shop (carefully selected, additive-free, domestically sourced ingredients, etc.). *Sold in limited quantities.
Other Notes
- The cats live freely on the premises. Please be careful if you have allergies.
- The animals are temperamental, so we don't know which room they will visit. They won't necessarily always come.
- The cats and dogs at Washinmura are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for ticks.
