Background of the Event

Hagiwara Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture; President: Hideyasu Hagiwara) has engaged with Igusa with a "fearless attitude toward change" since its founding. While opportunities to encounter Igusa have decreased due to lifestyle changes, we believe in its value and launched the "Tsunagu, Igusa. Future PROJECT" in 2019. Following workshops in Nihonbashi and Toyosu, we are now holding this Marche at Tokyo Station, the gateway to Tokyo, to bring the charm of Igusa directly to even more people.

Highlights of the 'Igusa Marche'

Sales of carefully selected Igusa items: We will feature a lineup of Japanese-style miscellaneous goods that blend into modern life, as well as Igusa products that enrich daily living.

Experience 'Igusa' with all five senses: We have prepared approximately 20 tatami mats at the venue. There will be an exhibition where you can learn about its functionality and history while being enveloped in the pleasant scent of Igusa.

Visitor Benefits: We have prepared special coasters (first 500 visitors) for this event and look forward to seeing you there.
