TV Anime Adaptation of "The Daughter of the Monster Master" Announced

Drecom Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yuki Naito) is pleased to announce that the TV anime adaptation of "The Daughter of the Monster Master" (Author: Amato Dam, Illustrator: Shirabi), published under DRE Novels, has been decided. This work will be the first visual adaptation of a title awarded by the "Drecom Media Award."

In conjunction with this announcement, the anime's teaser visual and main cast and staff information have been unveiled. Following the promotional video released at the time of Volume 1's launch, Manaka Iwami will voice the protagonist, Lean, Chiaki Kobayashi will voice Hakura, and Akio Otsuka will voice Ao. Furthermore, comments have arrived from original author Amato Dam, character designer Shirabi, and director Chihiro Kumano.

A manga adaptation is also scheduled to begin serialization in September 2026. To commemorate the anime adaptation decision, a preview version is currently available on the web manga site "Drecomi+" ahead of the serialization. "The Daughter of the Monster Master" received the Grand Prize with unanimous agreement from the judges at the "2nd Drecom Media Award," a novel competition for new talent. The TV anime adaptation has now been decided.

The original novel is a fantasy work about Lean, a descendant of a witch with the ability to control monsters, her attendant slime Ao, and the adventurer Hakura, known as the "Witch Hunter." The story follows their journey as they interact with both monsters and people.

Ringreen, the primordial witch said to have saved the world.

Lean, a girl who is her descendant, possesses the ability to control all monsters as "The Daughter of the Monster Master."

One day, deep in a quiet forest.

Lean encounters Hakura, an adventurer who was fighting a ferocious monster and was on the brink of death.

"Do you want to live? Or do you want to find peace?"

Saved by her hand, Hakura is hired as Lean's bodyguard, and the two embark on a journey together.

However, the incidents that come her way, involving troublesome monsters that are not easily dealt with, are endless...

Lean, who is confident and selfish, yet somehow can't be left alone, and Hakura begin a slightly troublesome, yet irreplaceable journey together.
