Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture (Mayor: Riichiro Sugishima), in partnership with Seibu Railway Co., Ltd. (President: Shuichiro Ogawa) and the production committee of the anime "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun," will implement a collaborative project titled "Iruma City x Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun x Seibu Railway: Devi-Devi Excursion Operation!"

This project was inspired by the shared name between the protagonist "Suzuki Iruma" and the city itself. By appointing the anime characters as the "Iruma City Support Team," the initiative aims to create a sustainable cycle of visitors gathering, walking, and staying within the city. The collaboration represents a strategic alignment between Iruma City's goals for regional enhancement and Seibu Railway's commitment to revitalizing local areas through tourism and cultural promotion.

Project Highlights: ○ Commencing May 27, platform name signs at Seibu Irumashi Station will feature original collaboration designs. ○ The Apopo Shopping District will undergo a "Demon World" transformation, featuring blue thematic lighting and flags representing 15 characters. ○ Future developments include digital stamp rallies via the Seibu Line App, exclusive collaboration tickets, specialized manhole covers, and photo spots throughout the city.
