6th 'Angel Scramble' Event Connects Startup Founders with Angel Investors

On June 2, 2025 (Tuesday), the startup founder and angel investor matchmaking event "Angel Scramble" was held in Shibuya, Tokyo. The event was co-hosted by Z Venture Capital, East Ventures, Skyland Ventures, and AWS.

Angel Scramble features a 1on1 format with 15-minute slots over 1.5 hours, allowing founders and angel investors to conduct mentoring sessions regarding fundraising and business development. For this 6th installment, 25 startup founders and numerous angel investors gathered, creating a highly energetic environment.

Following the 1.5-hour 1on1 session, a networking mixer was held for approximately 1 hour, involving angel investors, founders, and co-hosting VCs. During the mixer, participants engaged in lively conversations that continued beyond the allotted 1on1 time, successfully bridging the gap between them.

Through Angel Scramble, the organizers aim to continue creating spaces where founders and investors can meet directly to foster new challenges. The next event is scheduled for later this year.
