[Z-kai] Announcement of "Z-kai Superb Questions Plus 7: Time Travel Edition" National High School Competition Supervised by Z-kai

Z-kai Co., Ltd. (Representative Director and President: Takao Fujii), a group company of Masu-kai Holdings, Inc. (Z-kai Group), is pleased to announce the launch of the high school student-oriented project "Z-kai Superb Questions Plus 7: Time Travel Edition" supervised by Z-kai, starting July 7, 2026 (Tue).

The "Z-kai Superb Questions Drill" in collaboration with Seven-Eleven stores has been held since February 2018.

This is the 7th installment of "Z-kai Superb Questions Plus," which adds themes that should be learned now to the standard five core subjects. This time, "Time Travel" is taken up as the theme for "Superb Questions Plus."

A question featuring a time machine became a topic of discussion in the 2026 "Common Test for University Admissions" Earth Science exam. This event will cover the flow of time and events from various eras, posing questions not only in the core subjects of Japanese, Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies, but also questions that encourage multifaceted thinking about the future.

Questions will be posed covering the standard curriculum range for the five core subjects up to the first year of high school, as well as topics related to the passage of time and events from various eras. Z-kai's specialized staff, who have a strong track record in preparing students for entrance exams at top universities such as the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University, supervise the questions. These "superb questions" require not only knowledge but also the application of "thinking skills" to arrive at the correct answer.

(4) Procedure

Participants will answer the questions within the Superb Questions Drill LINE account. Those who answer five consecutive questions correctly will receive a coupon* redeemable for "SOYJOY" provided by Otsuka Pharmaceutical. (Participants can attempt the questions a maximum of 7 times.)

*Coupons will only be issued upon the first instance of achieving five consecutive correct answers. Coupons can be exchanged for "SOYJOY" at Seven-Eleven stores, though some stores may not carry the product.

Furthermore, points will be added to the high schools (or alma mater for alumni) of those who achieve five consecutive correct answers and have pre-registered their school. These points will be tallied by high school and announced as a national high school ranking. The top 10 ranked high schools will receive "SOYJOY" for all their students from Otsuka Pharmaceutical.

Additionally, as a special project, the "Superb Questions Drill School Engagement Contest" will be held. Schools that register their efforts to promote the Superb Questions Drill within their campus will be considered. Five schools will be selected from the applicants to receive the "Superb Questions Drill School Engagement Award" and prizes, including "SOYJOY" for all students.
