Background of Program Implementation

Z-kai Inventive School is operated as a place to demonstrate, invent, and embody the Z-kai Group's philosophy of "the best education" within Toyota Woven City (Susono City, Shizuoka Prefecture), in which the Z-kai Group participates as an inventor. A nursery school for preschoolers opened in October 2025, and an elementary school (Note 1) and after-school program for elementary school students opened in April 2026.

(Note 1) This is positioned as a free school, not an accredited school (an elementary school as defined by Article 1 of the School Education Act).

We wanted to provide more children, not just those attending our school, with the opportunity to experience the special learning environment that fosters children's "inventive intellect and sensitivity" through a consistent "Child Centered" educational environment for children aged 0 to 12. Therefore, we planned this program.

Through this program, you can experience the essence of learning at Z-kai Inventive School.

~Let's Give Shape to Inventions Using the "Magic of Multiplication"~

Program Features

At Toyota Woven City, where Z-kai Inventive School is located, there are many inventors who "invent the future's normal for someone else."

We prepared this program with the hope that participating children will also become future inventors. We will work on inventions with the hint of thinking from the perspective of "for someone else's sake" and "combining something with something else" as the "magic of multiplication." Participants can experience the process of actually giving "shape" to their ideas through hands-on work and trial and error, and we will also provide hints that can be used for summer vacation free research.

Elementary school students

Children and their guardians who do not normally attend "Z-kai Inventive School" are also welcome to participate.

Participation with a guardian is required. A briefing session about Z-kai Inventive School will be held for guardians at each session.

About Z-kai Inventive School

Z-kai Inventive School is an educational facility consisting of three schools: a nursery school (for preschoolers), an elementary school (for elementary school students), and an after-school program (for elementary school students).

The Z-kai Group, which advocates the group philosophy "Opening the Future with the Best Education," participates as an inventor in Toyota Woven City, a people-centered, experimental, and unfinished city where the future's normal is invented, and operates this facility.

We accommodate the needs of families, with preschoolers having options from full-day care to weekly classes, and elementary school students able to use the facility as a free school during the day or only during after-school hours and long breaks.

Nursery School

This is a non-accredited childcare facility for preschoolers, based on Montessori education, offering full-day care. It includes a "Community" for long-term care and "Classes" for regular attendance.

Elementary School

This is a full-day school (Note 3) for elementary school students.

Based on the principles of Montessori education, it provides learning in accordance with the curriculum guidelines. Additionally, it incorporates project-based learning and individual work, leveraging the unique environment of Toyota Woven City to offer STEAM education (Note 4) and inquiry-based learning.

After-School Program

This program is available for elementary school students after school and during long breaks. Students engage in Z-kai Inventive School's unique learning activities, such as project-based learning and individual work, during their after-school and long break hours.

(Note 4) Interdisciplinary education that applies learning in subjects such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Art(s), and Mathematics to solve real-world problems.
