zero to one Inc. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Representative Director: Ryuji Takekawa, hereinafter referred to as "zero to one") is pleased to announce that it will continue to provide its educational platform for online learning materials and certification exams for Sakura Internet Inc.'s (hereinafter referred to as "Sakura Internet") "Sakura Cloud Certification" (hereinafter referred to as "the Certification"), a certification system for digital talent development. In response to the system refresh, updated "Basic" educational materials and newly established online educational materials for "Advanced" will be available starting today, March 30th.
The "Sakura Cloud Certification" was established by Sakura Internet in 2024 for IT beginners, both working professionals and students, to acquire fundamental cloud utilization skills. Its purpose is to support the acquisition of practical skills using "Sakura Cloud" by understanding the basics of digital technology. Effective March 30, 2026, the certification system will be refreshed, with the existing certification content positioned as "Basic" and a new "Advanced" category established to cover more sophisticated cloud utilization. These two levels, tailored to proficiency, will create a systematic certification system allowing for progressive learning, from basic cloud knowledge to advanced technical areas such as cloud environment design and optimization.
zero to one has been providing online learning materials and the infrastructure for conducting certification exams through its educational platform for this certification system. In line with the system refresh, the content of the existing materials has been updated to comply with the "Basic" syllabus v2.0. Furthermore, online educational materials corresponding to the newly added higher-level "Advanced" category, produced by Sakura Internet, were released today, March 30th. These online materials can be accessed free of charge by anyone on zero to one's educational platform. Both companies plan to cooperate in regularly holding the "Basic" and "Advanced" certification exams, which are scheduled for the future.
In recent years, with the widespread adoption of cloud-native technologies such as containers and microservices, the importance of personnel with skills in designing and operating systems with a cloud-first approach has been increasing for companies and local governments. Through the provision of its educational platform and the development of educational materials, zero to one aims to support the development of digital talent, including working professionals and students, and contribute to the cultivation of digital engineers and the promotion of cloud utilization in Japan.
