COCOS JAPAN Co., Ltd. (President: Naoya Ichiki, Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo), operating the family restaurant chain 'COCOS' nationwide, will begin sales of the 'Fluffy Pure Ice Shaved Ice 2nd Edition' on Tuesday, June 23.
COCOS's 'Fluffy Pure Ice Shaved Ice' is a summer staple dessert crafted to rival specialty shops. It uses highly transparent ice slowly frozen at around -10°C for 48 hours, then finely shaved while incorporating air to create an irresistibly soft and fluffy texture.
For the second edition, COCOS offers seven flavors, including the annual favorite 'Shirokuma' topped with generous fresh fruits, and a shaved ice inspired by the globally popular 'Dubai Chocolate.' Also new is 'Pop Blue,' which changes color when the included syrup is added, offering a refreshing visual experience. Alongside returning flavors from the first edition—'Strawberry,' 'Uji Kintoki,' and 'Mango'—mini sizes perfect for after-meal desserts will continue to be available.
At COCOS's popular drink bar, a limited-time 'Ume-Kombu Tea' is also offered. After enjoying the cold shaved ice, guests are encouraged to warm up and relax with a soothing cup of 'Ume-Kombu Tea.'

Shirokuma
Inspired by Kagoshima's famous local treat 'Shirokuma,' this shaved ice is generously topped with fresh fruits like apples, bananas, and kiwi, syrup-soaked cherries, oranges, and pineapples, plus Hokkaido red beans and black soybeans. Rich milk syrup and creamy, melt-in-your-mouth whipped cream perfectly complement the fruits, beans, and black soybeans.
Dubai Chocolate
A rich-flavored shaved ice inspired by the crunchy-textured 'Dubai Chocolate,' famous for its kadaif (thin noodle-like dough) and nuts. Generous pistachio syrup—often called the 'queen of nuts'—is poured over, topped with kadaif, pistachios, candied almonds, and fluffy whipped cream. Drizzling the included chocolate sauce delivers a deep, indulgent chocolate flavor reminiscent of 'Dubai Chocolate,' while the crunchy texture of kadaif and nuts adds delightful contrast.
Pop Blue
A tropical-flavored shaved ice evoking summer with its refreshing blue appearance and passion fruit taste.
When the included lemon syrup is poured, the color changes from blue to purple. This year, syrup-soaked pineapple and fish-shaped gummies are added to create a seaside summer look. For extra fun, guests can top it with the included popping candy to add a soda-like burst of refreshment.
