(Headquarters: Kitakyushu, Fukuoka; President: Michio Takekawa; hereafter 'Zenrin') will begin sales of 'JAPAN MAP 26,' the 2026 map update for Panasonic Automotive Systems' 'Gorilla' car navigation system, starting July 9, 2026. The product is available in two versions: a download version, which allows for free road data updates every two months (valid through June 30, 2027; available exclusively via the 'ZENRIN Store'), and a media version, which includes the latest map information on an SD card (available at the ZENRIN Store, car accessory stores, and Zenrin sales offices).

- Reflecting New Highway and High-Standard Road Openings The update includes numerous new routes opened between 2025 and 2026, and updates all existing map data, including road map data, location search data, and city maps, to the latest versions.

- Comprehensive City Map Data Coverage Adopts city map data covering the entirety of Japan. With accurate depiction of building outlines and road widths/shapes, it ensures better situational awareness and supports safe driving.
- Free Limited-Time Update Rights for Road/Location Search Data The download version grants users the right to update road data free of charge once every two months through June 30, 2027. Users can perform the update by downloading map data onto their own SD cards.
* The 'JAPAN MAP' series will be discontinued following the release of 'JAPAN MAP 26'.
