Yurindo to Host Live YouTube Sales Event for 'Does Furigana Improve Academic Ability?' by Dai Matsumoto

Yurindo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa; President and CEO: Kentaro Matsunobu), which operates the official YouTube channel 'The World Only Yurindo Knows' every Tuesday, will hold an online sales event on June 9, 2026, for the book 'Does Furigana Improve Academic Ability?' by Dai Matsumoto, to be published by Poplar Publishing on June 24, 2026.

This marks the first time the channel will utilize its own e-commerce platform, 'Yurindo Online Store,' for a live sales event. The sale is limited to 5,000 copies, and each purchase will come with an original 'Ruby Foundation' x 'The World Only Yurindo Knows' designed book cover.

Prior to the live sale, a video titled '[Trivia] The World of Books Written About Ruby - The World Only Yurindo Knows 420' will be released on June 2, 2026. The video will introduce the book's content, the history of ruby (furigana), the fun of its expression, and the background of the writing, leading into the live sale.

The YouTube live stream on June 9 will start at 7:00 PM, with sales occurring for one hour from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. The store is based on the globally used e-commerce platform 'Shopify,' aiming to enhance customer experience and expand brand awareness by linking the viewing experience starting from YouTube with the purchasing experience.
