Sunset x Music Co-creation Project 'Nichiru-kai Music Lab' Launches. Now Accepting Creator and Corporate Partners.

The Japan Sunset Chillout Association (hereinafter 'Nichiru-kai') is launching 'Nichiru-kai Music Lab,' a music project based on the concept of sunsets. This project is an experimental initiative to create new ways to enjoy 'sunset x music' by releasing original songs inspired by sunsets and co-creating with creators, companies, and local communities. We are also starting to recruit partners who resonate with the project's worldview. Through various forms of co-creation such as joint production, sponsorship, and tie-ups, we aim to create new value from the fusion of sunsets and music. Nichiru-kai has previously promoted the 'culture of watching sunsets' by developing and providing sunset forecasts and chillout forecasts nationwide, contributing to the promotion of sunset appeal and regional revitalization. We are now expanding these efforts into the music and entertainment sector by launching 'Nichiru-kai Music Lab' as a new project. While sunsets and music have a high affinity, there have been no previous attempts to establish and cultivate a genre that combines both. At Nichiru-kai Music Lab, starting with the release of original songs, we will develop this as a co-creation project that fosters the fusion of sunsets and music together with various performers and partners, including singers, artists, creators, photographers, videographers, companies, and local communities. We hope to spread new ways to enjoy sunsets and connect this to future IP development.
