Limited Time Summer Hanamaru Pork Shabu ■ For a clean, refreshing taste during the humid rainy season We have prepared two types of pork shabu udon for you to enjoy refreshingly during the muggy rainy season. 'Pork Shabu Udon' and 'Pork Shabu Salad Udon,' featuring smooth Sanuki udon noodles topped with generous portions of pork and three types of toppings with different textures, will be available as a limited-time new product from Thursday, June 4 until mid-July. ■ 'Pork Shabu Udon' enjoyed with three refreshing toppings Generous portions of pork belly, quickly boiled in a broth with grated ginger, are topped with three distinct toppings: coarsely grated daikon (oni-oroshi), myoga, and green onions, each cut differently. The oni-oroshi is intentionally coarsely grated to retain less water than regular grated daikon, preserving a crunchy texture. The myoga is thinly sliced to maintain its fibers, creating a vibrant appearance and enhancing its texture and refreshing flavor. The green onions are carefully selected for their deep green color, tender leaf sheaths, and excellent taste and aroma. Finally, a special ponzu sauce with a slightly increased viscosity is added to ensure it clings well to Hanamaru's signature firm Sanuki udon noodles, allowing you to enjoy the flavor until the last bite. Fresh cut lemon is added as a garnish for a visually refreshing look and a tangy accent. ■ 'Pork Shabu Salad Udon' with plenty of vegetables and grated vegetable dressing This dish features the 'Pork Shabu Udon' generously topped with colorful vegetables for a satisfying bowl. It is served with a special sauce, a golden ratio blend of a rich, umami-packed dressing made with plenty of grated vegetables and a refreshing ponzu sauce, prepared in-store. Both types of udon feature firm Sanuki noodles with a soft surface and a resilient core, which pair well with the broth, making them perfect for the season with their smooth, refreshing taste.
