Season 3, Episode 26 of "TakaToshi & Lion's! Let's Play New Golf!" airs on May 16 (Sat)

BS Yoshimoto’s golf variety show starring Taka&Toshi and Onishi Lion, "TakaToshi & Lion's! New Golf!", Season 3 Episode 26 (#26) will air from 9:30 to 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 16. The program is also presenting a "Hiruchan substitute" theme while celebrating a "Birthday Cup" for Taka, who turned 50 on April 3.
This episode features two teams: Taka Team, composed of Taka and professional golfer Shirogo Shintarou, and Toshi Team, composed of Toshi, Onishi, and Kinchan (Oni-koshi Tomahawk). Impossible (Hiruchan and Eiji) will act as caddies, and each hole has a special rule. On the 7th hole, a "birthday hole" is set up for Hiruchan, whose birthday was April 1, and both teams must use beginner Hiruchan as a substitute player. As the game progresses, Taka’s team uses Hiruchan as a substitute after successfully reaching the green. Jogo Shintarou gives careful instruction and shows the shot himself—what kind of putt will Hiruchan show?
The show also includes Onishi taking golf seriously by putting aside the usual comedy style, and a rare accident during one of Taka’s shots. The 8th hole is a "near-pin showdown," where everyone tees off and the player whose ball lands closest to the cup wins a prize. Here, Onishi appears again as a comic moment when shifting wind repeatedly makes him switch clubs and restart before striking.
The final hole is a "everyone-for-everyone golf showdown." Even the caddy Impossible joins the teams for the final showdown. When Eiji’s turn arrives, he says he is "going all in for real," and as he gets serious, everyone notices a visible change in his mood.
Another highlight is the cart talk during movement. This time, in good form, Taka reveals he is back to golf after a while and lightly says, "The more you play, the worse you get." Jogo Shintarou agrees: "That is true." Meanwhile Kinchan shares an anecdote from a past round with another comedian.
