Thank you for your continued support of Yokohama Excellence. We are pleased to announce that Higen Hasegawa has been registered as a specially designated player for the 2026-27 season. Higen Hasegawa will be removed from the B.LEAGUE Free Negotiation Player List today, June 2nd (Tue) at 15:00. Higen Hasegawa is a 202cm, 85kg SF/PF born on May 10, 2005, in Yokohama, Kanagawa. After attending Yokohama Seifu High School and Kanagawa University, he played for Shiga Lakes from 2024 to 2026. Hasegawa commented, 'I am happy to realize my dream of playing for my hometown, Yokohama,' and expressed his commitment to contributing to the team's championship. GM Takaki Ishida commented, 'We expect him to play an all-around role utilizing his excellent physique.'
