The protagonist, a second-year junior high school student, was striving to balance studies while belonging to a busy brass band club. Furthermore, within the club, although their ability was recognized and they were assigned a solo part, their relationship with the advisor and seniors deteriorated over the overlap of summer classes and training camp. Friends and seniors pressured them, saying, 'If you run after two hares, you will catch neither. Quit your current cram school,' and the protagonist became deeply troubled. Once on the verge of giving up club activities, they encountered the individualized tutoring service 'School IE' in their heartbreak. In response to the protagonist's resignation that 'balancing both was impossible,' the School IE teacher gently encouraged them, saying, 'There is also such a thing as killing two birds with one stone' and 'There are views only those who chase two hares can see.'
