Yamaha to Exhibit at Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai 2026" Exhibition - Events to be Held in 3 Locations Including Hamamatsu, the First Time Ever

Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter "the Company") and Yamaha Music Japan Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Yamaha Music Japan") will exhibit at the event "Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai 2026"" (HAMAMATSU/OSAKA/TOKYO), which combines live performances by virtual singers like Hatsune Miku with an exhibition.

At each venue, we will offer opportunities for visitors to experience the joy of music creation through VOCALOIDTM DTMDemonstrations, instrument experience events, and content related to Hatsune Miku.

In HAMAMATSU, where our headquarters are located, we will collaborate with Enshu Railway and hold an exhibition at our corporate museum, among other initiatives in partnership with the local community, contributing to the overall excitement of Hamamatsu City both inside and outside the venue.

About "Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai 2026"

"Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai 2026"" is an event that combines 3DCG live performances by virtual singers such as "Hatsune Miku," "Kagamine Rin," "Kagamine Len," "Megurine Luka," "MEIKO," and "KAITO," with an exhibition where visitors can experience the joy of creation. Held annually since 2013, in 2026 it will tour three cities in Japan, including Hamamatsu as the first-time host city, for a total of 9 days.

Booth Attraction "Yamaha Creator Hub ~Connecting with Vocaloid, a Base for Creative Experiences~"

We will exhibit a hands-on booth for VOCALOID-related products in the exhibition area at each venue.

1. Collaboration Photo Spot & X Hashtag Campaign (All 3 Venues)

During the event period, a Yamaha x Hatsune Miku collaboration photo spot will be set up at all venues. At the photo spot, a special model in collaboration with Hatsune Miku is also planned for reference display. Furthermore, those who post photos taken at the photo spot on X with the designated hashtag will receive novelty gifts.

2. VOCALOID Consultation Corner & Mystery Quiz (All 3 Venues)

Staff knowledgeable about VOCALOID and DTM (music production) will be available to kindly answer visitors' questions and consultations, such as "How to become a Vocaloid P?" and "How to operate music production software (DAW)?"

Additionally, a mystery quiz event will be held at the booth, and participants* will receive novelty gifts.

* A VOCALOID ID will be required to participate in the mystery quiz.

3. Immersive Stage Instrument Experience (HAMAMATSU)

This is an immersive experience where you can enjoy playing instruments on the same stage as Hatsune Miku by wearing a head-mounted display. With our XR audio technology, you can experience playing instruments as a backing musician for Hatsune Miku in a realistic sound environment. Applications and details for this experience will be announced on a dedicated website to be released at a later date.

4. Beginner-Friendly Vocaloid DTM Experience Corner (OSAKA/TOKYO)

You can experience music production (DTM) using the music production software "Cubase" and the singing voice synthesis software "VOCALOID." Instructors will provide one-on-one support, so even beginners can enjoy it with peace of mind.

5. "Try Singing" Experience Corner (OSAKA/TOKYO)

You can experience professional recording using our soundproof room "Abiteks" and creator equipment. You can also enjoy a voice changer experience that allows you to convert your recorded singing voice into a VOCALOID voice.

Seminar "Dagashi O-gata and Practice! Let's Start Vocaloid on Your Smartphone!" (All 3 Venues)

This is a stage presentation introducing the iPhone/iPad app Mobile VOCALOID Editor. Mobile VOCALOID Editor allows you to easily create singing voices on your iPhone/iPad. Vocaloid P Dagashi O-gata will be invited as a guest to challenge a cover of "a certain song" using the Mobile VOCALOID Editor version of "Hatsune Miku V6."

To coincide with the Hamamatsu event of Magical Mirai, Yamaha's corporate museum "Innovation Road" is holding an exhibition from June 18th, featuring life-sized panels of "Hatsune Miku," "Kagamine Rin," "Kagamine Len," "Megurine Luka," "MEIKO," and "KAITO," as well as a walk rally to find instruments related to each virtual singer.

Enshu Railway Collaboration Project "Let's Go to the Vocaloid Holy Land with Enshu Railway!"

At "Yawata Station" on Enshu Railway, our nearest station, we are collaborating with Enshu Railway to display decorations of "Hatsune Miku," "Kagamine Rin," "Kagamine Len," "Megurine Luka," "MEIKO," and "KAITO" within the station premises. Additionally, from July 24 (Fri) to 26 (Sun), during the Magical Mirai HAMAMATSU period, peel-off stickers* will be distributed and displayed.

Furthermore, during the period, announcements by Hatsune Miku's voice will be broadcast inside trains on the Enshu-Niebawa Station - Yawata Station (downhill) and Yawata Station - Sukenobu Station (uphill) lines.
