Yamaha Corporation (hereafter, “the Company”) will hold a collaboration event, “Horoyoi Sound Terrace,” with the TV anime “Kamiiina Botan, Her Drunken Form Is a Lily” at its brand experience hub, Yamaha Sound Crossing Shibuya (YSC Shibuya), from Saturday, June 27 to Sunday, August 16, 2026.

The TV anime “Kamiiina Botan, Her Drunken Form Is a Lily” is set in a university dormitory and follows new student Kamiiina Botan and her dormmates as they deepen their bonds through alcohol. The series is popular for its depiction of the daily lives and diverse cultures of six female college students across various scenes.

This collaboration was realized because the anime includes memorable sound- and music-related scenes—such as a character placing a needle on a record on a turntable for the first time, visiting YSC Shibuya to try instruments, and the use of Yamaha electric guitars, Silent Cello™, and guitar amplifiers. Through this project, we aim to provide fans with opportunities to discover new worlds and hobbies like the characters, and to relive the world of the series. We will also present listening events at the comprehensive audio expo OTOTEN2026.

1. Hands-on experiences with instruments featured in the series

We will display and offer hands-on experiences with instruments used by characters, such as the electric guitar “PACIFICA612V II FMX,” favored by the music-loving character and band guitarist Yusa Akane, the electric guitar “REVSTAR RSS02T” which Yusa Akane played in the YSC Shibuya scene in Episode 10, Silent Bass, and Silent Cello. Guide videos are available for some instruments to teach posture and how to produce sound, making it easy for first-timers to enjoy.

2. Record “needle drop” experience

In Episode 3, a scene shows three dorm residents listening to a record in the dorm lounge. The warm, analog sound is strikingly expressive. This project offers not only record listening but also the experience of actually dropping the needle on a record like the characters in the series. The test track will be the series’ ending theme “Kanjou Glass” on analog vinyl.

3. Discover a new world and hobby — “automatic piano performance”

We will reproduce a piano solo arrangement of “Kanjou Glass” made especially for this project, and a medley of the series’ background music, using a Disklavier™ piano equipped with automatic performance functionality.

Production cooperation: Kana Hashiguchi, Keiki Nishida (Aniplex)

*Automatic performances will run approximately every 20 minutes for about four minutes.

4. Discover a new world and hobby — “beginner-friendly collaboration listening sessions”

These listening sessions are aimed at those who want to enjoy music in a better listening environment, like Yusa Akane. Using bookshelf speakers “NS-B330” and the AV receiver “RX300A” released in June 2026, participants can listen to the series’ opening theme “Mebuku Toki,” the ending theme “Kanjou Glass,” and more, accompanied by Yamaha Shibuya staff explanations of the equipment, while viewing footage from the series.

*Scheduled to take place July 1 (Wed)–July 12 (Sun), 2026 at 14:30 / 16:30 / 18:30 (closed Tuesdays).

5. Discover a new world and hobby — “beginner-friendly guitar & bass experience”

A free workshop where participants can try playing “Mebuku Toki.” The arrangement is simple, so even those touching guitar or bass for the first time can feel comfortable.

*Held from July 13 (Mon), 2026 onward. Check the special site for the schedule.
