Yamaha (Musical Instruments) x Yamaha Motor x Shunkado (Unagi Pie) Collaborate to Create Instrument-Themed Sweets: 'GAKKI SABLE'

Yamaha Corporation (hereinafter 'the Company'), in collaboration with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Yamaha Motor'), which shares the Yamaha brand, and Shunkado Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'Shunkado'), the manufacturer of the iconic Hamamatsu City confection 'Unagi Pie,' will launch 'GAKKI SABLE' (Instrument Sable), a line of sweets featuring instrument and speaker motifs. The product will be available starting Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Yamaha Music Yokohama Minato Mirai 2F Live & Cafe. Under the shared philosophy of 'creating excitement together with our customers,' the Company and Yamaha Motor have engaged in various joint initiatives to enhance the value of the Yamaha brand. This product was commercialized based on the 'Mobility Sable' previously offered at 'Yamaha E-Ride Base,' an experiential showroom operated by Yamaha Motor in Minato Mirai, Yokohama. Furthermore, the Company has been exploring new ways to enjoy sound and music with Shunkado, which is also headquartered in Hamamatsu, such as the co-development of the 'Ocarina Monaka' (a playable sweet). With the desire to make sound and instruments feel more accessible, this product features eight designs: piano, violin, drum, horn, guitar, marimba, speaker, and a mountain motif inspired by the name of our founder, Torakusu Yamaha. Using carefully selected ingredients, including the 'eel powder' used in Unagi Pie and domestic butter, these cookies offer a light, crisp texture and a mellow, nostalgic flavor.
