Xserver Inc. (Headquarters: Kita-ku, Osaka; Representative Director: Naoki Kobayashi) announced that on March 27, 2026, it began offering a new server environment for its rental server service 'Xserver,' which holds the No. 1 market share in Japan (*1). This environment is powered by the world-renowned 5th Generation AMD EPYC™ processors. The new server environment features significant enhancements in processing performance, disk performance, and memory capacity compared to previous environments. By further improving Japan's fastest (*2) server speeds and ensuring high stability, we provide an environment where users can conduct business and share information with peace of mind.

Features of the New Server Environment Since the inception of 'Xserver,' we have consistently provided the latest server environments. We have continued to adopt AMD EPYC™ processors as the core of our CPU infrastructure, and we have integrated the latest models into this new server environment as well. ◆ Equipped with 5th Generation AMD EPYC™ Processors We have adopted the latest 5th Generation AMD EPYC™ processors, which excel in large-scale data processing and parallel processing. Each server is equipped with 128 cores and 256 threads, delivering exceptional performance. ◆ Processing Performance Increased by Approximately 40% Through the adoption of the latest hardware and optimization of server configuration, server processing performance has increased by up to approximately 40% (*3) compared to our previous environment. This enables more stable site operation than ever before, even during sudden traffic spikes or high-load processing. ◆ Disk Performance Increased by 64 Times With this latest hardware configuration, we have significantly enhanced disk I/O (Input/Output) performance, which represents data read/write capability. The performance of 'NVMe,' the high-speed connection interface we have traditionally used for all storage, has been further improved. It achieves read speeds up to approximately 64 times (*4) faster than standard SSDs (all-SSD or pure SSD) widely used as high-speed storage. ◆ Memory Capacity Increased to 2.3TB The installed memory capacity has been increased from 1.5TB to 2.3TB, enabling faster and more stable operation. ◆ Existing Customers Can Also Migrate to the Latest Environment We offer a 'New Server Easy Migration' feature, which requires no specialized knowledge or complex migration work, allowing existing customers to use the latest server environment at no additional cost.
