XLOCAL Inc. (Headquarters: Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture; Representative Director: Daisuke Yamanaka; hereinafter 'XLOCAL') is launching a new initiative to address the critical shortage of management talent and successors in regional companies. By leveraging the database of its regional company and professional talent matching platform, 'Chiiki Zukan,' the company will provide end-to-end support for 'discovering, developing, and matching management talent.'
What is 'Regional Management Talent Generation (Tentative name: Sototsugi)' by Chiiki Zukan?
This is a talent matching project that enables urban talent who see potential in regional areas to become management leaders for regional companies. In reality, the psychological and practical hurdles for both companies and individuals to immediately participate in business or change jobs are high. To resolve this, we provide a 'phased agreement' mechanism where individuals first participate in regional company projects as contractors. After confirming their aptitude and compatibility through actual work, both parties can confidently transition to full-time employment (executive candidates/successor candidates).
Key Initiatives:
1. Selection of Regional Management Talent Candidates: We recruit individuals with the motivation to lead management in the future and the necessary skills, conducting our own unique selection process.
2. Initial Matching: We propose selected talent to regional companies struggling with a lack of successors. Matching begins as a contract-based engagement to confirm compatibility. We act as an intermediary for information sharing and contract negotiations to create a smooth first step.
3. Full-scale Matching: Following the initial matching, we conduct interviews with both the job seeker and the regional company. If both parties agree on intentions and conditions, we proceed with matching based on full-time employment (full commitment).
4. Other Support: Utilizing our '10 billion yen think tank' and business network, we provide necessary training and ongoing support from the selection stage through to full-scale matching.
Kickoff Event:
To mark the start of the project, we will hold a talk event featuring active managers (tentatively called 'Sototsugi') who have taken over regional businesses without blood relations. The event will unravel the process of succession, the conflicts, and the reality of being a manager.
Date: April 7 (Tue) 12:00-13:00
Method: Online (Zoom)
