The Kaizuka EXPO Fireworks Executive Committee is pleased to announce the featured fireworks program for "JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO 2026 in Osaka – Nishikinohama," to be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Nishikinohama Beach and surrounding areas in Kaizuka City, Osaka Prefecture.

Approximately one year has passed since the opening of the Osaka-Kansai Expo (EXPO2025). "Those fireworks" that lit up the night sky of the Expo and remained in the memories of many people are returning to Osaka once again.

At this event, Wakino Art Factory, which was responsible for the opening day and special fireworks of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, will be in charge of launching the fireworks. To make it a special night for all Expo fans, a special program unique to JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO (JFE) has been prepared, including a music starmine using songs related to the Expo. The details of the song titles will be kept a secret until the day of the event.

In addition, as one of the featured fireworks programs announced this time, two special guest launches by Kishi Kako Manufacturing, which has been responsible for the finale at the National Fireworks Masters Competition "Nishi-Awa Fireworks," are planned.

Kishi Kako Manufacturing is known for being responsible for the climax of "Nishi-Awa Fireworks" and has captivated audiences with its unique indigo and yellow fireworks. At this JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO 2026, they will deliver a program that highlights the individuality and skill unique to a special guest.

On the day of the event, there will also be a fireworks commentary corner by Tetsuo of Warai Meshi. This special project aims to convey the charm, highlights, and ways to enjoy fireworks in a friendly and easy-to-understand manner, not only for fireworks fans but also for those who have vaguely watched fireworks until now, allowing them to feel the charm of Japanese fireworks culture more deeply. In addition, as a separate daytime event, "Manzai no Ashita" - Manzai Workshop, which was also held at the Yoshimoto Pavilion of the Expo, and Tetsuo's fireworks talk show are also planned.

The fireworks at this event will be even wider and larger in scale than the "JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO" held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo. Last year, the composition was a 10-go tama (shaku-dama) in the center and 7-go tama on both sides, but this time, 10-go tama will be placed not only in the center but also on both sides, aiming for a more powerful performance.

JAPAN FIREWORKS EXPO (JFE) is a project that aims to connect the excitement born at the Osaka-Kansai Expo to the future, and to disseminate the charm of fireworks festivals, fireworks masters, and fireworks culture nurtured in various regions of Japan.

The National Fireworks Masters Competition "Nishi-Awa Fireworks" is a highly anticipated competition where fireworks masters from all over the country compete their skills in the Nishi-Awa region of western Tokushima Prefecture. It is a competition where the individuality, skill, and expressiveness of each fireworks master are directly challenged, and it is one of the special fireworks festivals where you can experience the depth and diversity of Japanese fireworks culture.
