[Kayo Pops Channel] Popular program in its 15th year of broadcasting gets a major revamp! 'Miyamoto Ryuji no Kayo Pops Ichibanboshi' features the Takashi Hosokawa family & starts a new corner 'Professor Miyamoto's Kayo Pops Lecture'!

The popular original program "Miyamoto Ryuji no Kayo Pops Ichibanboshi ~Enka & Kayokyoku Information Variety~", currently broadcasting every second Friday of the month at 6:00 PM on the CS broadcast Kayo Pops Channel, will be renewed starting April 2026, marking its 15th year since its start in 2012, to bring you even more fulfilling content.

Hosted by former NHK announcer Ryuji Miyamoto and singer/actor Shoko Aida, this music program has been supported by many viewers since its inception for exploring the charm of the songs and the authentic sides of the artists through singing and talking with talented singers from the Enka and Kayokyoku world.

In this renewal, the program will break away from frameworks such as "Main Guest" and "Corner Guest" set previously, and will be updated to a freer and more expansive structure that better draws out the appeal of the interactions and singing among the performers.

The guest lineup for the first episode of the renewal features Takashi Hosokawa, a leading singer in the Enka world, along with his active disciples Konomi Mori, Ryusei, and Aimi Tanaka. The "Takashi Hosokawa Family" will gather in full force to liven up the program with their singing and talking.
