WorkX Establishes Kansai Branch ~ Strengthening Support System in the Kansai Area ~

WorkX Inc. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tomoharu Higashino; hereinafter "WorkX"), which operates a DX/AI consulting business, has established a Kansai branch on April 1, 2026, in conjunction with its business expansion into the Kansai area.

■ Background of Kansai Branch Establishment

WorkX has, until now, provided consulting services from strategy formulation to implementation support in the DX and AI fields, based in Tokyo.

Since WorkX's inception, we have recognized the challenge that while Tokyo's GDP accounts for about 20% of Japan's total, the knowledge and labor force of consulting firms are concentrated even more in the metropolitan area. We had been considering nationwide expansion, also taking into account the timing of aiming for an IPO.

Amidst this, as consultations and requests from companies in the Kansai area increased, we decided to establish a Kansai branch with the aim of building a more prompt and comprehensive support system in the Kansai area.

■ Future Outlook

Until now, our support for Kansai companies has primarily involved utilizing freelance talent residing in Kansai, or providing remote and business trip-based support.

With the establishment of the Kansai branch, WorkX will be able to provide support that combines the specialized knowledge of its over 8,000 freelance talents with the management and hands-on support capabilities of its in-house consultants, thereby committing to the transformation and results of companies in the Kansai region.

Starting with the establishment of this Kansai branch, we aim for further business expansion, striving for the growth of companies across Japan and, beyond that, the improvement of Japan's overall productivity.

After working at several major Japanese consulting firms and Deloitte Touche Consulting, Yoshiki Matsumoto joined WorkX in April 2026.

He has been engaged in end-to-end consulting, from planning and conceptualization to implementation support, primarily in the Kansai region, for a wide range of industries including electrical/machinery, heavy industry, materials/chemicals, automotive parts, telecommunications, trading companies, insurance, and securities. His project themes have included business strategy, digital conceptualization, company-wide structural reform, SCM, sales/service reform, management control, and organizational/human resource transformation, experiencing numerous multifaceted projects during corporate transformation periods.
