Com2uS Japan Co., Ltd., a provider of mobile games for smartphones, has announced the development of a new game based on the Japanese TV anime 'I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths!' (hereinafter referred to as Eparida).
Com2uS has signed a licensing agreement with Kodansha, the IP rights holder, and will promote the game development and global publishing of the anime 'Eparida'.
By maximizing the core appeal of the work while integrating the unique fun of gaming, they plan to expand it not just as a TV anime, but also as gaming content.
'Eparida' is a popular title that originated as a light novel and has surpassed 1.8 million copies in cumulative series circulation including its comic adaptation, expanding its fan base worldwide through the TV anime.
The story follows the protagonist, Red Mage 'Yuke', who teams up again with his former students to form the party 'Clover'. It is garnering attention as an adventure fantasy exploring the depths of a dungeon, and the production of a second TV anime season has already been confirmed.
This project was revealed as a surprise at the Com2uS booth during 'AnimeJapan 2026' held at Tokyo Big Sight on Sunday, March 29th.
During the announcement stage, voice actors from the TV anime made an appearance, and the project was revealed on a large screen, drawing significant attention from attendees.
Alongside the project announcement, a teaser video was also released.
In this approximately one-minute video, the protagonist 'Yuke' and his former students 'Rain' and 'Marina' make an appearance, hinting at the new journey of 'Clover' that will unfold within the game.
At this year's 'AnimeJapan 2026', in addition to the game adaptation announcement of 'Eparida', Com2uS deepened communication with anime and game fans by running stage events, playable demos, and experiential events focused on new titles in development such as 'Togen Anki Crimson Inferno' and 'Gachiakuta The Game (Tentative)'.
Com2uS plans to continually release a new lineup of games based on anime as highly polished content, further strengthening its brand recognition in the global market.
