wimo Opens New Experiential Hub "BASE WIMO" in Omiya for Test Rides and Experiences

Wimo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kasa Hong) launched COOZY in 2020, an electric assist bicycle designed not to be perceived as one, aiming to dispel preconceived notions and impressions of electric assist bicycles. With its sophisticated frame design and rich color variations, it has garnered attention for many years. Subsequently, the company expanded its wimo kids lineup, which offers serious-minded children's bicycles that defy the typical impression of children's bikes, with sizes ranging from 16 to 26 inches. Furthermore, inheriting the philosophy of COOZY, the "COOZY Light" model, which pursues even greater ease of riding, was launched in 2024. BASE WIMO is positioned as a "hub (BASE)" where more people, services, and communities can intersect, in addition to the lifestyle proposal elements of the former showroom "CASA WIMO." While CASA WIMO was a private space themed around "home," BASE WIMO is designed as a place where people gather and new activities and connections spread. At BASE WIMO, we aim to provide personalized proposals through test ride experiences for each customer, and to foster community creation rooted in the local area.
