Willnext Inc. held an online seminar on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, co-hosted with Benesse i-Career (doda campus).

The speaker was Kazutoshi Nakayama, Director of Business Promotion Division, Willnext Inc.

Over 45 minutes, he shared the concept and practical methods for strategically involving on-site employees beyond HR in recruitment activities. This release reports on the seminar.

Why is on-site involvement important now? What are the three steps to engage the field?

Nakayama pointed out that the biggest factor for new graduates in choosing a job is "workplace human relationships."

Students seek not only official company information but also real work struggles and team atmosphere, verifying what HR tells them on review sites and SNS. "Information spoken from the heart by on-site employees is the most powerful tool to bridge that trust gap," Nakayama said.

However, involving the field without preparation can backfire.

Nakayama advocates executing the three steps of "motivation, systematization, and evaluation" in order.

When requesting, narrowing the role to "HR holds the pass/fail decision; just talk about work for 15 minutes" lowers psychological barriers. When having them act, providing a "briefing sheet" beforehand that clearly states what episodes to talk about and what not to say creates a state where the field can face students without hesitation. After cooperation, it is important to communicate the specific result "Thanks to you, we got acceptance" with a CC to their boss, leading to future cooperation.

"These three steps not only improve recruitment effectiveness but also produce a side effect of re-recognizing organizational loyalty through the process of on-site employees talking about their company's appeal," Nakayama continued. On-site engagement recruitment is positioned as an initiative that simultaneously improves recruitment quality and organizational engagement.

Summary of this seminar

Throughout the seminar, the consistent message was the perspective that "what moves the field is design, not enthusiasm."

The reason on-site employees refuse is not a lack of motivation or attachment to the company. In most cases, the request is vague and the materials for action are not provided.

By executing the three steps of motivation, systematization, and evaluation in order, the field transforms from "being asked" to "being part of the recruitment team."

What HR personnel need is not just the role of a judge who decides pass/fail. They need the perspective of a producer who designs recruitment while overseeing the field, students, and the entire organization.

While honing marketing, negotiation, and design skills, starting with small steps like "asking a field manager for 15 minutes" or "creating one briefing sheet" is the first step toward a recruitment system that strengthens the entire organization.

We will continue to offer seminars for HR personnel.
