Aging Whiskey in Toi Gold Mine: Whiskey&Co. Launches Private Brand Pre-orders

Golden Park Toi Co., Ltd. announced that it will barrel-age whiskey produced by Whiskey&Co., Ltd. inside the gold mine tunnels of Toi Gold Mine, a designated historic site in Izu City, and offer it as a private brand (PB). The tunnels provide a rare environment with an average temperature of 18°C and 80% humidity. The whiskey being aged is a bourbon-style spirit produced at the 'Distillery Water Dragon' in Mishima City, using spring water from Mt. Fuji and corn as the main ingredient. The project also pays tribute to the land by offering the first drop to the Yama-jinja shrine located within the tunnel. Pre-orders will be accepted on-site starting June 16, 2026 (Tuesday) at 9:00 AM, with delivery expected around July 2027. Prices are 6,500 yen for 375ml and 11,111 yen for 700ml (tax included).
