To celebrate the 10th anniversary of its opening, the Kyoto Railway Museum will display the 'Yoshitsune' locomotive—the oldest steam engine in its collection and a designated Railway Heritage Asset—on the track beside the SL Steam-go. Prior to the display, the locomotive will depart from the roundhouse for a test run along the same track.

※ Railway Heritage Assets are designated under the former Japanese National Railways' Railway Heritage Protection Regulations. These designations aim to preserve historically and culturally significant railway items that are essential for understanding the development of Japan's railway history.
