Kyoto Railway Museum Celebrates 20th Anniversary of KiYa 141 Series DMU with Special Exhibition

The Kyoto Railway Museum utilizes a connecting track linked to JR West's operational lines to display various types of rolling stock. This time, the museum is holding a special exhibition to mark the 20th anniversary of the KiYa 141 series diesel multiple unit used for railway maintenance. Related events include the display of a 20th-anniversary commemorative emblem and the sale of admission tickets that include access to the driver's cab.

A special 20th-anniversary emblem will be displayed on the front and side of the KiYa 141 series vehicle.

Sale of Admission Tickets with Driver's Cab Viewing (Photography prohibited inside the vehicle)

The museum is selling special admission tickets that include exclusive access to the driver’s cab of the KiKuYa 141-2 car.

*Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter the cab.
