A new Asia-exclusive color, "Bordeaux," is now available for the highly popular coat rack "KNIT," designed by product designer Jin Kuramoto. Sales will begin on July 3, 2026 (Fri.) at HAY TOKYO, HAY OSAKA, and HAY ONLINE STORE.

Existing Colors

KNIT is a freestanding coat rack inspired by an experimental process of bending and knitting ropes and metal rods. Three powder-coated metal pipes intersect three-dimensionally, and their structure of supporting each other creates stability and a unique three-dimensional form.

BordeauxBordeaux

The new color being introduced is Bordeaux. It was created as an Asia-exclusive color that brings a quiet calmness and a subtle energy to a space, possessing a classic depth while maintaining a modest appearance. It adds a new perspective and individuality to KNIT's existing palette, while its sophisticated tone further enhances the sculptural form.

It demonstrates its presence while blending into a wide range of scenes, from private environments such as hallways and bedrooms in residential spaces to public spaces like offices and restaurants.

With the addition of the new color, "KNIT" now offers an even richer variety. Please take a look at your nearest store or online store.
