WE AT (General Incorporated Association) is pleased to announce its participation as a STARTUP ECOSYSTEM PARTNER at the global tech event 'GITEX ASIA 2026,' to be held in Singapore.
In this initiative, WE AT will exhibit alongside 'WE AT CHALLENGERS' (*), the startups selected through our pitch contest 'WE AT CHALLENGE,' which aims to become one of Asia's largest festivals for well-being. We will promote support for their entry into the Asian market and create opportunities for collaboration with local partners.
About GITEX ASIA 2026
GITEX is one of the world's leading technology events, primarily held in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, serving as a global innovation platform that brings together startups, large corporations, investors, and government officials.
Its Asian edition, 'GITEX ASIA,' functions as a hub connecting startups with capital, industry, and policy in the growing Southeast Asian market. Through exhibitions, pitches, and networking, it is positioned as a venue for creating substantial opportunities for fundraising, business partnerships, and international expansion.
Held from April 9 to 10, 2026, at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, the event will gather over 23,000 technology leaders, companies, startups, investors, government officials, and ecosystem partners from more than 110 countries to discuss and shape the social implementation of AI, its governance, and its deployment into the real economy.
Background and Significance of Participation
While the number of Japanese startups and the amount of funding they raise have been increasing in recent years, challenges remain in achieving business expansion and large-scale growth in the global market.
In the Asian market, in particular, differences in demographics, infrastructure, and medical/industrial structures require business development based on collaboration with local companies and adaptation to specific use cases, rather than simple product deployment.
GITEX ASIA is considered a key hub for Japanese startups because it gathers investors, companies, and government officials, making it an environment where such 'collaboration based on social implementation' is easily established.
Through this participation, WE AT will go beyond merely providing exhibition opportunities to offer implementation-level support, including:
- Building relationships with local companies and investors
- Creating opportunities for business partnerships and PoCs
- Refining expansion strategies for the Asian market
We are committed to promoting the global expansion of Japanese startups.
