April 1st may be a day when "lies" are tolerated around the world. However, for us at Water Design World, today is not a day for "lies," but a day to declare a "serious dream" that we are willing to stake our lives on. We are renewing our determination to reshape the future of the global environment through the infrastructure of water.
Turning faucets around the world into "sources" that heal the Earth Our dream is to turn the water coming out of every faucet in the world into "nanobubbles"—bubbles so tiny they are invisible to the naked eye.
This is a world where people do not need to make special efforts or sacrifice anything for the sake of the environment. In the course of daily life—washing hands, cooking, taking a bath—these "ordinary activities" simultaneously improve people's skin health, purify the plumbing in their homes, and eventually make the rivers and oceans beyond beautiful.
**"Washing dishes becomes washing the ocean."**
We are seriously committed to creating a society where such "unconscious environmental contribution," where technology naturally protects the environment, is realized. To embody this philosophy, we are also engaged in activities to protect clean waters, such as supporting the conservation of the Japanese crane (Tancho).
The "social walls" we are facing Serious challenges still pile up around "water," the source of life.
* **Severe cleaning labor and labor shortages:** Public infrastructure, especially the removal of urine scale and biofilms in train station restrooms, relies heavily on strong chemicals and manual labor. With the acceleration of labor shortages, this maintenance is already reaching its limits. * **Environmental impact of chemicals:** Large amounts of chemical detergents used to remove dirt lead to water pollution and continue to place a heavy burden on Mother Earth. * **Vital importance of hygiene management:** Maintaining hygiene in medical settings (such as artificial dialysis) and at home is directly linked to people's lives. However, with existing technology, it has been difficult to completely prevent the growth of invisible bacteria and viruses.
We will break through these "walls that must be solved" with the power of technology and update society.
Innovative technology that makes the dream a reality: The overwhelming superiority of UFB DUAL® Our dream is backed by solid technology. Japan's pride, "UFB DUAL®," is the engine of this social transformation.
1. **Cleaning and anti-fouling mechanisms proven by science:** The ultra-fine bubbles of 0.1–0.2μm generated physically adsorb and peel away dirt. Following its adoption by JR Kyushu, we have received inquiries from many public facilities and others. 2. **The one-and-only safety of "not taking in outside air":** We have obtained water supply equipment certification (JET/JWWA). Because of its unique structure that does not take in outside air, there is no risk of bacteria or viruses from the air entering the system. It is a safe bubble generation technology that has also passed drinking water suitability tests. 3. **Stress-free and permanent reliability:** We have succeeded in limiting the drop in water pressure—which was 30–50% in conventional nanobubble products—to less than 5%. The durability that allows us to offer a 15-year long-term warranty without maintenance is proof of its reliability as infrastructure.
A world where the dream is realized: 3 impacts etched into society When UFB DUAL® spreads to every corner of society, our world will change dramatically.
* **[Home] Dramatic improvement in QOL through "Whole-house Nanobubbles":** Turning all water in the house into nanobubbles. In the bathroom, moisture retention lasts longer compared to tap water. A rich lifestyle will take root where skin problems are prevented, detergent use is minimized, and the burden of housework is "unconsciously" reduced. * **[Medical/Infrastructure] DX of hygiene environments and longer building life:** We will accelerate the DX (digital transformation) of hygiene maintenance in artificial dialysis settings and cleaning in public facilities. By constantly removing biofilms inside pipes, we keep the pipes—the "blood vessels" of a building—clean, protecting asset value and realizing "longer building life." * **[Global Environment] Sustainable "unconscious environmental contribution":** Moving toward a circular society where the environment is purified just by using water, rather than someone having to work hard at it. We aim for a society that contributes to the environment as a matter of course, even without conscious intent.
Our code of conduct: A "dream roadmap" that we don't just talk about We do not intend to let this dream end as mere fantasy. We have already accumulated a track record of installations in many homes, hospitals, dental clinics, and public facilities.
Currently, our activities are not limited to Japan; we are already receiving enthusiastic inquiries from all over the world.
We will turn the trust we have built in the "past" into the actions of the "present," and spread this "unconscious environmental contribution" from the world to the entire Earth. We will continue to be the front-runners in creating a new standard where casual daily actions connect directly to love for the Earth.
Conclusion: To our partners who will create the future together This dream can never be achieved by our power alone. To local governments, developers, medical institutions, and everyone who believes in the future: will you join us in this challenge to update our common asset of water and leave behind a beautiful Earth that we can be proud of for the next generation? We hope that April 1st will be the starting point for a new future where "serious dreams" sprout all over the world.
