Wataya Besso Co., Ltd. (Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, CEO: Yoshimoto Obara, hereafter Wataya Besso) will hold the third installment of its popular project, "NAKAGO POP UP STORE - NAKAGO's Tin Artisan," at its POP UP STORE. At Wataya Besso, we aim for guests to experience the richness of the local OS—such as hot springs, tea, and ceramics—and Japanese culture during their stay. This event will once again feature the well-received tin brand NAKAGO, focusing on tin artisan Mr. Koichiro Yamada and introducing the world of his works.

【Past Initiatives】

The first "NAKAGO POP UP" unveiled a collaborative tea and sake ware set jointly developed by Kitano Tea Garden, NAKAGO, and Wataya Besso. Since then, we have continued to provide opportunities for guests to experience the charm of tin as part of their stay through permanent sales, tin experiences at a limited-time sake bar, tasting comparisons, and workshops.

Through these ongoing efforts, tin sake vessels and daily utensils have become a familiar part of the stay experience at Wataya Besso, cherished by many guests.
