Thank you for your continued patronage of Washinmura.

We would like to announce that the cafe 'Kazemachi no Kyujitsu by Washinmura' will be temporarily closed starting from October 1, 2025.

With Gratitude for Your Support

Since our pre-opening on March 1, 2025, we have welcomed many guests and are deeply grateful for the heartwarming moments we have shared with you.

We are truly delighted that you enjoyed our Taiwanese mango shaved ice, 'Happiness Shaved Ice', Kuroge Wagyu roast beef direct from Kyoto, and the occasional chance encounters with rescued cats in a space enveloped in the warmth of wood.

The thought put into the name 'Kazemachi no Kyujitsu' (Holiday Waiting for the Wind) was to provide a place to step away from busy daily life and rest your heart's sails to take the next step forward. It brings us immense joy if we were able to deliver such a space to you.

Glamping Facilities Operating Normally

Please note that our glamping facilities are operating normally.

You can continue to enjoy heartwarming experiences such as interacting with rescued animals, BBQ, bonfires, and saunas amidst the seasonal nature.

Towards a New Start

During this closure period, we will rethink what the cafe should be and explore a new operational style that will bring even more joy to everyone.

Aiming for a reopening from 2026, we would like to take this time to carefully prepare to deliver an even more attractive space and services while maintaining the warmth typical of Washinmura.

Our philosophy of 'coexistence and harmony among people, animals, and nature' remains unchanged. Please look forward to the new 'Kazemachi no Kyujitsu'.

Details regarding the reopening date and the new style will be announced on our official website and social media as soon as they are decided.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.

We look forward to welcoming you to the village where your heart naturally finds peace.
