For such days, Washinmura has started offering a day-trip picnic lunch.

The picnic lunch at Washinmura is not a picnic premised only on being under a blue sky.

There is the regular plan 'Kazemachi' spent in the indoor space 'Kazemachi no Kyujitsu', and the special plan 'Kuchu', limited to one group per day, where you can rent out the treehouse 'Ichijukaku' depending on availability.

It is a lunch experience where you can choose how to spend your afternoon according to the weather.

You grill hot sandwiches yourself, eat them freshly made, and take a leisurely walk around the premises after the meal.

Experience the time of doing nothing while feeling the presence of cats, dogs, goats, and chickens.

Regular Plan 'Kazemachi'

With the regular plan 'Kazemachi', you can enjoy a picnic lunch in the indoor space 'Kazemachi no Kyujitsu'.

The main dish is hot sandwiches you grill yourself.

There are two types of hot sandwiches: tuna mayo corn and a blend of ham, onion, and two types of cheese.

Because you grill it yourself, you can enjoy the fresh heat, the savory smell, and the moment the cheese melts. It is a lunch where you don't just wait for the food to arrive, but move your hands a little and enjoy the time it takes to bake.

Menu contents:

- Colorful salad with plenty of beef tongue

- Refreshing homemade Taiwanese tea jelly

- Freshly squeezed juice

The beef tongue salad combines tender beef tongue with seasonal vegetables. The Taiwanese tea jelly offers a refreshing sweetness after the meal.

Special Afternoon Spent in the Trees | Limited 1 Group Per Day 'Plan Kuchu'

If availability permits, we also offer the special plan 'Kuchu', limited to one group per day.

With 'Plan Kuchu', you can rent out Washinmura's treehouse 'Ichijukaku' privately. It is a special afternoon enjoying lunch and coffee in a space up in the trees embraced by five cedar trees.

Ichijukaku is equipped with a sofa, low table, air conditioning, and a toilet. You can feel the countryside from a higher perspective while gazing at the sunlight filtering through the skylight or the Boso mountain range spreading beyond the large window.

The plan includes the meal contents of the regular plan 'Kazemachi' plus a coffee set. Grinding the beans yourself and brewing coffee one cup at a time suits an afternoon spent in a tree.

The location of the meal itself becomes an experience. That is the greatest appeal of 'Plan Kuchu'.

'Plan Kuchu' is requested by selecting 'Plan Kuchu Request' when booking the regular plan 'Kazemachi'.

Even if requested, it is not guaranteed and will be offered based on availability on the day. If there is no vacancy, you will use the regular plan 'Kazemachi' as is.
