Regarding the Change in Pet-Friendly Accommodation Policy at 'Washinmura', Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture

Thank you very much for your continued patronage of 'Washinmura', a 200-year-old folk house glamping facility in Futtsu City, Chiba Prefecture.

At our facility, which is surrounded by the rich nature of the Boso Peninsula and located about an hour's drive from Tokyo, guests can enjoy animal petting experiences with our mascot dogs, Kirin and Waka, as well as our rescue cats. However, we would like to inform you of an important change regarding our pet-friendly accommodation policy.

[Change] Suspension of Pet-Friendly Accommodations for New Reservations from September 2025

Starting from new reservations made on or after September 1, 2025, we will be suspending accommodations for guests accompanied by pets.

We have previously accepted pet-friendly stays; however, while the animals at Washinmura are very friendly towards humans, we have increasingly observed cases where they feel nervous or stressed in the presence of unfamiliar animals.

In order to protect an environment where everyone can relax and spend time comfortably, we have made the difficult decision to suspend pet-friendly accommodations.

Reassurance for Guests with Existing Reservations

Guests who have already made reservations with their pets can stay as planned. Please come with peace of mind.

We will decline pet companions for new reservations starting from September 2025. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
