Wagokoro Co., Ltd. (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Tomohiro Mori; TSE Growth: 9271), which operates specialized stores for hair sticks (kanzashi), wagasa (Japanese umbrellas), chopsticks, and sauna/spa goods under the vision of 'Bringing Japanese Culture to the World,' will begin selling new Kyoto-exclusive colors of the 'Tree-Climbing Fox Single Hair Stick' at select 'Kanzashiya wargo' stores in Kyoto starting Friday, April 24th.

The 'Tree-Climbing Fox Single Hair Stick,' which combines a fox reminiscent of Kyoto's symbol Fushimi Inari with the traditional 'Agemaki' knot (meant to ward off evil), now features long-awaited colors exclusive to Kyoto stores.

This exquisite piece reflects Japanese emotions and wishes, featuring a fox looking upward to signify things moving in a positive direction, accompanied by an auspicious decorative knot.

In a first-ever attempt, different limited colors have been adopted for each store within Kyoto city.

Three colors are available: 'Kogane' (Gold), imagining the glamorous Nishiki Market; 'Wakamurasaki' (Light Purple), imagining the retro-modern Shinkyogoku; and 'Karacha' (Brown), reflecting the calm atmosphere of Ninenzaka.

These foxes, showing different expressions at each store, are perfect as memories of your Kyoto tour. Please find your own special color along with the cityscape of the ancient capital.
