Wacom Releases "Wacom Art Pen 2" with Enhanced Rotation Detection

Wacom Co., Ltd. launched the "Wacom Art Pen 2" on May 13, 2026, aimed at digital artists and creative professionals. This new pen features 360-degree rotation detection, allowing users to intuitively adjust line thickness and nuances by rotating the pen, similar to analog art tools like flat brushes or calligraphy pens. Equipped with 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity and three side switches, the battery-less EMR pen ensures high precision and workflow efficiency. It is compatible with latest models like Wacom MovinkPad Pro 14 and Intuos Pro. The retail price is set at 17,380 JPY (including tax).
