Regarding the Dissolution of Virtual Line Studio Inc.

Virtual Line Studio Inc. (Head office: Chofu City, Tokyo; hereinafter "VLS") announces that it resolved to dissolve at a general meeting of shareholders held on March 31, 2026, and entered liquidation procedures on April 1, 2026.

VLS was established with investments from Nikkatsu Corporation (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Naoki Sato), Digital Frontier Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and Chairman: Hidenori Ueki), and KANAMEL Inc. (Head office: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director Group CEO: Yasuhito Nakae). It has been exploring new production methods in video production through the utilization of virtual production technology.

As part of a review of its business structure, VLS has now decided to dissolve.

The virtual production-related initiatives and production support functions that VLS has undertaken will be continued by Django Film Inc. (Head office: Chofu City, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Masaya Nagayama), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nikkatsu Corporation.

Furthermore, Digital Frontier Inc., which has played an important role in VLS's business operations, will continue to collaborate in the ongoing virtual production business.

VLS will proceed with the necessary procedures as a liquidating company.
