Visionary Inc. (President and CEO: Yusuke Niwa, headquartered in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture), a company operating disability welfare services, will co-host two major events in collaboration with the fitness organization APF (Asia Physique Federation): the 'APF VISIONARY TRYOUT CUP 2026' on Saturday, August 15, 2026, and the 'APF VISIONARY CUP 2026' on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Both events aim to go beyond traditional fitness competitions by creating new value in the areas of 'recruitment,' 'career development,' and 'organizational building.'

In recent years, businesses have faced significant challenges such as difficulty in hiring, improving organizational engagement, and implementing health management initiatives. The APF × Visionary collaboration events focus on the perseverance, self-discipline, and proactive mindset developed through individual athletes’ physical training, aiming to create meaningful connections that deliver mutual value to both competitors and companies.

Event Overview

### [APF VISIONARY TRYOUT CUP 2026] A New Platform for Career Development Where 'Muscle is Evaluated'

Event Name: APF VISIONARY TRYOUT CUP 2026 Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026 Venue: Kyurian, Shinagawa Ward Comprehensive Community Hall (Shinagawa, Tokyo)

This event will feature a special category: the 'Draft Tryout Class.'

The Draft Tryout Class is a unique, tryout-style category where companies considering hiring 'muscle talent' or entering sponsorship agreements participate as judges. They comprehensively evaluate athletes’ physiques and performance abilities, with the goal of scouting and recruiting them directly into their organizations.

For athletes, this is an opportunity to showcase not only their competitive performance but also their physical dedication, posture, and self-management skills—potentially leading to new career paths through employment, job transitions, or sponsorship deals.

The inaugural 2025 event attracted over 400 athletes and more than 1,000 spectators. Seven companies participated in the Draft Tryout Class, with five successfully matching and signing agreements with athletes.

This initiative, which extends athletes’ opportunities beyond the competition stage into corporate engagement, has drawn significant attention both within and outside the fitness industry.

### [APF VISIONARY CUP 2026] Corporate and School Teams Compete in the 'Corporate Team Battle'

Event Name: APF VISIONARY CUP 2026 Date: Saturday, August 29, 2026 Venue: Nagoya Bunri University Culture Forum (Inazawa, Aichi Prefecture)

This event will feature the special category 'Corporate Team Battle.'

The Corporate Team Battle, launched in 2023, is APF’s first team-based category, where athletes from companies, schools, or organizations form teams of three and compete under their organization’s banner.

By introducing a team-based challenge to a traditionally individual sport, the event emphasizes the 'team sport' aspect—fostering growth through shared goals and camaraderie.

Additionally, since teams compete under their company or school names, the event serves as a platform for enhancing internal communication, promoting health management initiatives, and strengthening organizational branding—extending value far beyond the competition itself.

The previous edition saw 12 teams from 9 companies and 3 schools across Japan. The team-based format fostered inter-organizational exchanges and positioned the event as a hub for new community building.

As a new contest category that communicates organizational unity and corporate culture through fitness, the event aims for further expansion and development.
