Visa Supports 'Special Moments' in Fan Culture with Payments, Sponsors 'KCON JAPAN 2026' as Official Payment Partner

Visa has consistently supported the creation of environments where visitors can focus on the experience itself, by providing a safe, secure, and smooth payment environment at memorable event venues for fans. As part of these efforts, Visa will now sponsor "KCON JAPAN 2026," one of the world's largest K-POP fan and artist festivals, where attendees can experience various Korean lifestyles, primarily K-POP. The event will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from Friday, May 8 to Sunday, May 10, 2026, and Visa will serve as the Official Payment Partner.

This sponsorship embodies Visa's commitment to supporting fan culture during "special moments at events," and aims to support attendees from a payment experience perspective, ensuring they can enjoy the unique time at "KCON JAPAN 2026" without stress.

"KCON" has been held worldwide as a global festival where attendees can experience diverse K-culture, including K-POP, K-Beauty, K-Food, and K-Content, all at once. At "KCON JAPAN 2026," many fans are expected to enjoy encounters with artists and culture.

At this event, Visa will support the creation of an environment where attendees can immerse themselves in the experiences of stages, conventions, and shopping, by reducing the hassle associated with payments within the venue through safe, secure, and smooth payment experiences, including contactless payments.

In conjunction with this sponsorship, Visa will roll out various campaigns and benefits to enhance the fan experience for "KCON JAPAN 2026," extending from before arrival to the day of the event.
