History
Vis was founded in Osaka in 1998, and from 2004, established the "Designer's Office" business, leading the creation of working "spaces" for many years. However, through the diversification of working environments and changes in values, our perspective gradually shifted. We began to question whether what was truly important was not the "place" itself, but the "people" working there. What feelings do they bring to their work? Do they feel a sense of purpose? As we pondered these questions, the global spread of the new coronavirus occurred, and working styles reached a major turning point. It was then that we clearly realized: creating offices alone was insufficient; we needed to think about "work" itself. And in 2023, Vis expanded its business concept from "Office Design" to "Work Design."
This was a major turning point, approximately 20 years after the start of our business.
What we envision as "Work Design" is the integration of workplace design (place) and experience design (experience) to design "work" itself. Through this, we believe we can enhance employee engagement and contribute to the sustained improvement of corporate value.
Furthermore, even after a project is completed, a company's growth continues. That is why Vis will continue to be a presence that consistently supports companies.
On April 9th, we will launch a new service, "EXPERIENCE DESIGN," as one of the pillars constituting "Work Design." Through "Work Design," which integrates place and experience, we will support individuals and organizations to unleash their maximum potential.
