Financial Education Event "Money Workshop for the Future" to be Held on August 26 (Wed) for Parents and Children During Summer Vacation

Vertex Corporation (Location: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Yuji Kajio) is participating in the Corporate Alliance for Creating the Future of Financial Education (hereinafter referred to as "the Alliance"). Together with Mizuho Financial Group, Inc., Mizuho Bank, Ltd., and J-FLEC (the Financial Education Promotion Organization), the Alliance will hold a financial education event for parents and children titled "Learn Together This Summer Vacation! ~Money Workshop for the Future~" on August 26, 2026 (Wed) at Mizuho Marunouchi Tower.

This event is a special program themed "Financial Education for Parents and Children to Learn Together" and is aimed at elementary school students in grades 4-6 and their guardians. The goal is to provide children with a fun learning experience and guardians with practical knowledge for daily life, aiming to create opportunities for natural conversations about money within the family.

Program for the Day

1. Let's Learn About Money Separately, Parent and Child! (Held Simultaneously)

For children, "Mizuho's Money Fantasia: Learning in a Magical Kingdom! How to Use Money" will be held. Within a magical school theme, children will learn basic knowledge such as "What is money?" and "How to use it?" through fun quizzes using touch panels.

For guardians, a special seminar by J-FLEC will be held concurrently. The content will cover essential financial knowledge for parents raising children, from household budget management to asset building, presented in an easy-to-understand manner.

2. Let's Experience Investment Together, Parent and Child!

Utilizing the knowledge gained in session 1, parents and children will participate together in the "Kids' Investment Challenge." Through a simulated investment game supporting their favorite shops, they will experientially learn about the mechanisms of investment and the concept of growing money.

*The Japan Association for the Cultivation of Children's Survival Skills (Kids' Money School), the company developing the content, holds over 2,000 parent-child financial education events nationwide annually.

3. Award Ceremony and Group Photo

All participating children will receive an "Okane Hakase (Money Expert) Certificate," and a commemorative photo session will also be held.
