Machi Spacha Project Participates in the Ibaraki Prefecture Booth at NicoNico Chokaigi 2026

The "Machi Spacha Project," operated by uyet Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Daiki Kajita)—a "comprehensive trading company for IP content" creating new distribution channels in Japan and globally through VTubers and IP content—will participate in the Ibaraki Prefecture booth at "NicoNico Chokaigi 2026," held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall on Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, 2026. The project will handle the exhibition planning for Hokota City, Ibaraki Prefecture.

As part of "Super Subculture Ibaraki," a booth introducing collaborations between Ibaraki Prefecture and IPs, panels showcasing the past initiatives of VTuber agency "Nanashi Ink" and Hokota City will be displayed to expand awareness of this initiative among visitors.

About the Machi Spacha Project

The "Machi Spacha Project" is a project aimed at VTuber fanbases, primarily those in their teens to 30s, to help them encounter "supportable towns" that become their second or third hometowns. Through contents like manga and videos that broadcast the charm of regions, we contribute to "regional revitalization" and "expansion of hometown tax (Furusato Nozei)." Thus far, the project has been implemented in 8 municipalities: Hachimantai City (Iwate), Niimi City (Okayama), Hokota City (Ibaraki), Kitakata City (Fukushima), Tamana City (Kumamoto), Tarui Town (Gifu), Tsurui Village (Hokkaido), and Kawaguchi City (Saitama).
