Ueno Transtec Co., Ltd. Concludes Comprehensive Partnership Agreement with Hiroshima National College of Maritime Technology

Ueno Transtec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa; Representative Director, Chairman & CEO: Takashi Ueno), a shipping company within the Uyeno Group, will conclude a comprehensive agreement with Hiroshima National College of Maritime Technology (Location: Osakikamijima-cho, Toyota-gun, Hiroshima; Principal: Makoto Hemmi). The agreement aims for the advancement of education and research, promotion of human resource development, and strengthening of industry-academia collaboration. A signing ceremony will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Ueno Transtec is a core shipping company of the Uyeno Group, which consists of 37 companies engaged in the transport, storage, and sale of essential petroleum and chemical products, as well as solar and marine environment businesses. Since its founding in 1869, the company has contributed to social development through marine transport of petroleum and petrochemical products. Hiroshima National College of Maritime Technology, part of the National Institute of Technology, is a national college specializing in maritime technology. It trains specialized engineers in the maritime field (Department of Merchant Marine) and electronic control/logistics information engineering fields (Department of Integrated Science). The college is dedicated to fostering talent for Japan's present and future development through practical education using training vessels and various experimental facilities.
