With the vision of "making the world enjoyable with robotics," Yukai Engineering Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Shunsuke Aoki), which plans and develops numerous communication robots and IoT products, announced that its "peeking" charm robot "mirumi," scheduled for release from Spring 2026, appeared at the Spring/Summer 26 fashion show of Italian fashion brand "GCDS." This collection was presented in Milan, Italy, on February 27, 2026.
The theme of this collection is "What's in My Bag?". Creative Director Giuliano Calza packed his identity built over 10 years and his own "treasures" into bags and sent them down the runway. Chosen by Giuliano himself through an offer as the symbolic "personal companion lurking in a modern bag," was the charm robot "mirumi."
"Mirumi," wearing a special costume and curiously "peeking" at the outside world from the gaps in the bag, transcended the realm of mere accessories. It became a key item embodying the "playfulness" and "fusion of technology" that the designer wanted to express on this important 10th-anniversary stage, drawing intense attention from media and celebrities worldwide.
