“Glancing” Charm Robot "mirumi" Appears as a Bag Charm in the Italian Brand "GCDS" Spring/Summer 2026 Milan Collection

Yukai Engineering Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Shunsuke Aoki), which plans and develops numerous communication robots and IoT products under the vision of "Making the world more fun with robotics," has announced that its “glancing” charm robot "mirumi," scheduled for release in spring 2026, appeared in the Spring/Summer 26 fashion show of the Italian fashion brand "GCDS". The collection was presented in Milan, Italy on February 27, 2026.

The theme of this collection is “What’s in My Bag?”. Creative Director Giuliano Calza filled bags with the identity he has built over 10 years and the "treasures" he holds dear, sending them down the runway. The charm robot "mirumi" was personally selected by Mr. Calza to be the "personal companion lurking in a modern bag," a symbolic representation of the theme.

Peeking curiously at the outside world from the gaps in the bag, "mirumi," dressed in a special costume, went beyond being a mere accessory. As a key item embodying the "playfulness" and "fusion of technology" that the designer wanted to express on the important 10th-anniversary stage, it garnered intense interest from media and celebrities worldwide.
