Ueni Trading Co., Ltd. (President: Mitsuyoshi Miyagami) will hold a pop-up shop at Daimaru Tokyo from Wednesday, April 8th to Tuesday, April 21st, featuring apparel and lifestyle items in collaboration with Satoshi Kon's animated film 'Paprika,' which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
With "Dream" as the keyword, this project expresses the unique world of 'Paprika,' where dreams and reality merge, through fashion and lifestyle items. Alongside an original key visual created for this project, the collection features iconic motifs and memorable scenes from the film.
The apparel line includes designs that elevate the story into fashion, such as all-over print jackets and graphic T-shirts recreating the opening scene. Furthermore, a wide range of lifestyle goods, including glasses, rugs, and cushions, has been prepared to bring the world of 'Paprika,' where the boundary between dream and reality blurs, into everyday life.
An original key visual has also been unveiled. It incorporates iconic motifs from 'Paprika' and imagery of dreams, featuring a collage of the letter "P" from the film's logo. It serves as the main visual symbolizing the concept of this collection.
At the venue, you can view these collaboration items within a space designed to evoke the multi-layered imagery of the film.
